On Sunday November 1, Maddie’s favorite team The New York Mets lost the World Series to the Kansas City Royals by a score of 4 games to 1. It was a great first season for Maddie, filled with lots of excitement and triumph, even though it ended in defeat. And now she knows that even in the best of times it isn’t easy to be a Mets fan.

Spring Training starts in just a few months. The Mets will be back, and Maddie will be there to root them on!
